An  ophthalmologist  is  actual  medical  doctors  who  specialize  in  eye  diseases.  They  identify  the  disease  in  a  patient,  decide  on  a  course  of  action,  and  provide  treatment.  They also  provide  basic  services  as  an  optician  and  optometrists.   Lastly,  is  your  regular  doctor  who  along  with  giving  you  physical  can  give  provide  basic  eye  care,  which  includes  eye  exams.

Your eyes  were  playing  tricks  on  you

People  with  blurred  vision  feel  that  their  eyes  are  playing  tricks  on  them  all  the  time.

Facts  about  blurry  vision

Blurred  vision  is  a  generalized  term  that  fails  to  efficiently  explain  the  disease.  Each  individual  can  experience  blurred  vision  differently.

Occasional  blurred  vision-  is  a  person  who  is  experiencing  blurred  visions  but  only  occasionally.  Then  there  are  people  who  experience  it  on  a  constant  basis.

There  is  such  a  thing  as  Unilateral  Blurred  Vision , which  is  defined  as  blurred  vision  that  only  happens  in  one  eye.  Next,  is  Bilateral  Vision , which  is  blurred  vision  that  happens  in  the  both  eyes.

Then there is homonymous hemianopsia, where an individual ceases to see objects fully.  They are only able to see half of the things they are looking at.  Usually this type of blurred vision only effects people who have had a stroke or head injuries, which resulted in and disconnect between the brain and the person’s visual structure.  It is like falling down and breaking your arm, your arm can heal, but it is more difficult when you are talking about  a  person’s  visual  structure.

Factors

There  are  a  number  of  factors  to  consider  when  it  comes  to  having  blurred  vision.
First,  one  must  ask  themselves  if  there  is  a  history  of  eye  disease  in  your  family.  Second,  are  you  suffering  from  diabetes,  glaucoma,  or  cataracts,  if  you  don’t  know  you  need  to  get  checked  out  for  these  diseases,  especially  if  your  blurred  vision  continues.  Third,  go  see  if  you  need  eyeglasses.  The  fact  is  that  your  blurred  vision  could  be  the  result  of  simply  needing  eyeglasses.

Medications

Beware  of  some  of  the  medications  you  might  be  taking  like  anti-depressants,  heart  medications,  and  even  oral  contraception  can  cause  blurred  vision.  If  you  are  taking  any  of  these  medications  and  are  experiencing  blurred  vision  go  talk  to  your  physician  immediately.

Conclusion

Although,  it  is  scary  to  image  something  going  wrong  with  your  eyes,  it  does  happen.  The  best  thing  is  to  get  your  eyes  checked  regularly,  as  well  as  get  a  physical  exam.  There  is  no  substitute  for  good,  strong  and  healthy  eyes.
